I love dalmatians. Such cute dogs!

So therefore I had always dreamt of a black and white Dalmatian beanie with these cute dogs on them.
Mine is still a litte puppy, wagging its tail :)

The beanie comes in two sizes and will be a long beanie for the smaller size (52 -54 cm head circumreference) and for bigger heads it will be more sort of a normal beanie.

It has my typical dotted corrugated ribbing as I’d like to put up the black dotted fur in the ribbing.
The ribbing is followed by a dog paw border (peerie) pattern and a the complete puppy from head to tail.
Then comes the paw peerie again, followed by a dalmatian dog face with black dalmatian fur spots. At the top is a star formed from a zigzag peerie and 5 little dog paw prints.

The bigger version is quite slouchy because it goes over 160 stitches.
The smaller version will fit quite right but be a bit of a long beanie on smaller heads.

My version is knitted completely in 4-ply sock yarn in black and off-white. But you can also use Acrylic yarn of similar weight or Merino wool.
That’s all up to you.

You need about 35 g of each color.
As the beanie only uses two colors throughout the whole pattern it’s also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.

For girls you also could knit it in pink and black instead of off-white. :)

Ich liebe Dalmatiner! Und wollte schon lange mal eine schwarz-weisse Mütze mit Dalmatinerflecken machen.

Mein kleiner Dalmatinerwelpe begrüßt Euch jetzt schwanzwedelnd auf dieser Mütze.

Sie hat meinen typischen zweifarbigen Karobund, der die Dalmatinerflecken nochmal aufgreift.
Gefolgt von einer Pfotenbordüre und dem süßen Dalmatinerwelpen.
Im Anschluß folgt wiederumd ie Pfotenbordüre, dann ein Dalmatinergesichtchen umrahmt von Dalmatinerflecken. Obendrauf ist ein Stern, geformt aus einer Zigzagbordüre und 5 Hundepfotenabdrücken.

Die Mütze ist wieder komplett aus 4-fach Sockenwolle gestrickt.
Es gibt sie diesmal in zwei Größen. Die kleinere Mütze wird eher als Longbeanie ausfallen. Die größere dann eher als normale Beanie.

Ihr braucht ungefähr 35 g in jeder Farbe. Ihr könnt auch Acrylgarn oder Merinowolle in ähnlicher Stärke verwenden.

Da die Mütze durchgängig nur zwei Farben verwendet, ist das Muster auch für Mehrfarbenstrickeranfänger geeignet.

Für Mädchen ließe sich die Mütze auch in pink und schwarz stricken :)
