Dalyance is a large shawl/jacket/poncho it has lots of buttons which gives it multiple styling options.

One panel can be worn on its own as a scarf, buttoned to itself as a poncho or shrug jacket.
When two panels are made, they can be buttoned together and worn as a poncho/throw/jacket and either buttoned at the sides or left loose.
Note - the medium size is fine for a scarf, the large would be a bit bulky.

The striped, textured pattern is inspired by the way light and colour reflect and disperse on the dancing flow of the water.
With the addition of buttons, this pattern has a lot of flexible styling options.

Dalyance is a stripey pattern worked over a stitch pattern to create shapes in the lines of stripes.

Worked flat it can be made on straight needles

There is a cowl using the same stitch pattern which matches nicely. (Perfect for using your left over yarn).

Yarn: Merino 4ply 400m per 100g; 5 colours 100g each.
Large uses about 460g, medium uses around 340g to make 2 panels

Sizes:
