Damian's Entrelac Blanket
Damian’s entrelac blanket is crocheted one block at a time, but the blocks are joined as you go, so no sewing is required. Done entirely using HDC, this stitch pattern looks like little popcorns or bobbles, making a nice squishy blanket. Also, because it is a one-row pattern, it is reversible. I found that this is an easy pattern to remember and crocheted up fairly quickly. This pattern is easily adjustable to whatever size blanket you want, just add or subtract blocks.
The last 2 photos are the same pattern done in different colors for each row, using worsted yarn, with fewer blocks per row to get the same size.
Yarn: I used 2 balls of Lion Brand Ice Cream Big Scoop; 10 oz (284g); 1117 yds (1022 m), in color Blueberry.
Hook: US G 6 (4 mm)
Measurements: 52 x 38” (132 x 96.5 cm) at widest points.
Skill level: easy. I even show some photos of how to do the stitch pattern, and how the blocks are joined as you go.
Pattern is available in English only and uses US crochet terms.
