Damsel Socks
For the month of Sock-tober, if you buy two of my sock patterns, you can get a third of your choice for free!
One of the oldest tropes out there is the ‘damsel in distress’--a young, beautiful woman held captive by some nefarious figure, with nothing to do but wait fr someone to save her. It doesn’t have the best reputation, especially in modern times, however, I’ve always been partial to stories about damsels who buck the tradition of waiting for a savior and instead become their own salvation.
These socks seem well-suited to the modern damsel, knit from the toe-up with an all-over pointelle lace pattern and topped with a ruffle cuff. But don’t be deceived by the frills and daintiness--these socks are versatile, sturdy, and with my Choose Your Own Sock-venture format, you can choose from multiple options for the toes and heels, they’re sure to be a perfect fit for you.
