This cabled set is very easy to knit. The Perfect pattern for a new knitter who wants to try cabling.

Skills required: knit stitch, purl stitch, knit 2 stitches together, slip slip knit, knit 2 together, purl 2 together, work in rounds.

Material needed:
U.S. 4 (3.5 mm) 16 inch circular needle
U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) - 16 inch circular needle
U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) - double pointed needles
cable needle
1 stitch marker
Yarn - ALIZE Lanagold classic (30% alpaca, 15% wool, 55% acrylic) 100g/262 yards (240 m) per skein - approx. 80g/210 yards/192 m, 100g/262 yards/240 m (120g/314 yards/288 m) - 1, 1 1 skein, or Medium weight yarn size 4.
