The middle panel features two-color slipped stitch cabling, which looks impressive but is dead simple to work, with only one color used at a time. This type of “cowlette” has the style of a shawl but is effortless to wear and has the benefit of using far less yarn, meaning you can spring for those small skeins of precious cashmere yarn such as Anzula’s new Serenity.
