Dancing Circles Reversible Scarf
For the skill-hungry knitter, four different techniques combine for an astounding scarf greater than the sum of its parts. An adaptation of a “marlisle” technique, two-color marling contrasts with double knitted motifs, bracketed by intarsia i-cord edging. Top it off with mirrored ombre color changes and you have a playground of new skills any knitter would be proud to master.
The Dancing Circles Reversible Scarf is knit flat. Most of the scarf is knit in garter with two colors held double for a marl effect, with circle motifs throughout created with double knitting. Simple i-cord edging gets added flair from basic intarsia. Pattern includes video tutorials for all techniques.
This pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
