Dragonflies can be found in many different faith traditions, symbolizing wisdom, strength, transformation, perseverance, new beginnings and even the souls of our departed loved ones coming to visit us again. When I was asked to make a pair of mittens with dragonflies on them, I knew I wanted them to show the undulating colours and the joy we feel when we see them dancing in the meadows. I hope I’ve captured that spirit in this pattern.
