Dancing Dream Socks… As a young girl, I longed to be a ballerina. That wish never came true… but I’m still dreaming! ;)

From the mini cable ribbing, a petite Cable Rib--a path of pirouettes--dances all the way down each the front of each sock for this design. The back of the leg is knit in stockinette/stocking stitch. The petite cable is quick to memorize and easy to knit--and NO cable needle required! Knit cuff down in Magic Loop method. Instructions for stockinette heel and Wedge Toe, but feel free to use your favorite heel/toe constructions. Suitable for adventurous beginner sock knitters, but also enjoyable for knitters with experience. Easily adaptable to knitting with DPNS. I have knit the model socks in Sandnes Garn Sisu, one of my go-to commercial sock yarns. Use your favorite 4ply/fingering weight yarn. The cable motif is “neutral” enough to be unisex. Solid color yarns are ideal for this design, but equally pleasing in gently speckled or tonal/semi-solids.
