Dancing Galaxies is an infinity scarf featuring a big mosaic stitch pattern that draws the shape of spirals on a dark background.
The spiral shapes are slightly irregular and surrounded by randomly scattered light color stitches, reminding me of dancing galaxies in the night sky.
It is worked flat to the desired length, then grafted.
Finished size: 19 cm height and 130 cm circ. (7.5” height and 51.25” circ).
Yarn
Malabrigo Susurro (25% Linen, 25% Merino Wool, 50% Silk; 325 yards 297 meters/100 g).
MC: Whales Road, approx 230 yds 190 m;
CC: Polar Morn, approx 165 yds 150 m.
Needles
3.75 mm /US 5\ * knitting needles.

Notions
2 markers.
Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Gauge
24 stitches and 40 rows = 10x10 cm (4”) in mosaic st after blocking.
Note: Gauge is not critical for this project.
