These fingerless mitts go with the Dancing Leaves Hat and Cowl patterns, using a portion of the same motif of cable and lace leaves, for a lovely set that’s just enough for the still cool weather of early Spring.
The pair uses approximately 50 gr/100 yards of a light worsted weight yarn, and can be knit up in a few hours.
As shown the mitts were done using Jilly & Kiddles Elite DK in the Phonix Tail colorway.
They’re perfect for when you just need a bit of warmth for your hands, but still need your fingers free for typing, texting, or other tasks that a full mitten might interfere with.
The size is for an Adult Medium, but there is enough stretch to fit a fairly large hand, and enough negative ease for a smaller hand. If you have very small hands, going down one needle size should work well.
The pattern contains charts for both hands, and each chart is fully written out.
