Meant to mimic the movement of water down a mountainside, the Dancing Rill Scarf is a narrow scarf featuring a lace center with columns of stitches that flow outwards into a cable edging.

This pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
Dimensions: 60” long by 4.5” wide.
Measurements taken post blocking but after some time to relax.

The sample shown has used approximately 2/3 of a 100g skein of Hawthorne Fingering in the colourway Goose Hollow. Using an entire skein would make for a very long scarf.

The gauge is not critical, and can be scaled up or down with the yarn you choose. Keep in mind that cables are ideally knit on the snug side to avoid holes at the left edge. For example, if light fingering were used instead I would recommend using a US 2/2.75mm Needle size.
