Dancing Shells Blanket
I designed this blanket as a gift for my 4 year old niece who loves ballet and dancing! The simple, pretty design is made up of shell stitches that are worked in a special way to make them look like they’re twirling and dancing. This blanket is an easy, 1-row repeat and reversible (identical on both sides).
Materials: You may use yarn and hook of choice with this pattern. Sample blanket used approx. 3,400 yards of a sport weight acrylic yarn and crochet hook size F (3.75 mm).
Gauge: You may work to your own gauge.
Finished Size: You may make this blanket to any length & width. Sample blanket measured approx. 48” x 62”.
Stitches used include - ch, sl st, dc, fpdc
Pattern includes close up, detailed stitch photos to help you follow along.
Skill level: Easy/Intermediate
Pattern is written in standard American terms.
