Dancing Snowflakes
** FREE THROUGH April 24th with code HANGINTHERE**
This beautiful shawl is made in one piece. It has several interesting lace portions and also some garter sections to allow your brain to relax.
Use one skein of any size yarn with the needle size recommended in the pattern for the sample size shawl. If you use more than one skein you could make the shawl any size. Directions are included for if you would like to change the size and make it your own!
This fun and variable shawl was created for fantastically variegated yarn. The knotted openwork sections and garter sections are particularly well suited to show off your short color changing yarn.
I created it with The Hook and Needle Nook’s 12 Days of Christmas box in mind, so it can be used well with 25 gram mini skeins. If you are using multiple skeins of yarn, change yarns at the beginning of each section and knit the first row in the section instead of slipping it.
The shape of the shawl is an asymmetrical triangle. It can be worn in several configurations. It would be nice with 2 100 gram skeins of yarn, which would make the shawl deeper, but can be worn in so many beautiful ways as just a one-skein wonder!
As with all of my patterns, let me know if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to help!
