This pattern consists of a multi paged PDF file that includes detailed charts for a set of TWO different lion motifs (left and right facing) and a set of two coordinating zig-zag designs. In addition, there are extra charts that include strings of side-by-side lions, both left and right-facing.

Each of the lion patterns is 35 stitches wide. The zig-zag patterns have a repeat of 7 stitches, so five of them fit neatly within one lion pattern. Instructions and tips are included that explain how all of the designs can be used together to create the baby blanket pictured in this listing. The patterns are charted using the well-known standard overlay mosaic crochet charting symbols used by Tinna Thorudottir Thorvalder.

The “Dandy Lion“ pattern is exactly the same width as my popular “Elephants on Parade” pattern, which means you can easily use them together to create a fabulous piece. The addition of the zig-zag patterns will give your works even more pizazz.

There are no written instructions with the pattern - just the very detailed charts. There are notes and tips as well, to help with crocheting the pattern, and there is information on other mosaic crochet resources, should you be new to the craft.

Please note that the yardage shown in this listing is for the sample blanket pictured here and in the pattern.
