I named this bag after my young friend Danielle, a
recent college grad who gave me the idea for a little bag
like this. It’s easy and fast to knit, and a perfect project for
beginners. How practical to have a small clutch you can
toss in your brief or computer bag with your essentials,
and have it ready for a lunch outing or date after work.
Make a couple in the popular colors of the season to go
with your favorIte “work to fun” outfits! If you want a
smaller bag, make the mini version! It is knit in stockinette
stitch, just a smaller variation of the same basic knitting
instructions. You will only need one skein of color A to
complete the bag body, and one skein of color B for the
contrasting flap. A gorgeous button really sets it off - bling
for your bag.
