I wanted to make a nice, soft cardigan that would be comfortable to wear and easy to throw on top of my plain, long sleeved shirts. I have been inspired lately by kimono sleeves and bed jackets from last century. I put these elements together and came up with this design.

I wanted to make my design more elegant so I added starburst/lotus stitch panels throughout my design. This is a fun stitch, but be sure to knit loosely while working them.

I have added notes throughout this pattern to help you make your own modifications to help you make modifications to fit your unique size and/or shape.
