Over the past few months I’ve been asked to make a Dachshund/Sausage dog by a couple of friends as a draught/draft excluder. Well, obviously, I couldn’t say ‘no’ could I!?!

Daniel fell off of my needles just after Christmas and I absolutely loved every stitch of him.

He’s knitted in Chucky Yarn and has 20mm domed eyes. I’ve put a couple of spots of acrylic paint in his eyes to give them an added twinkle.

He will make a perfect gift for any dog lover out there and keep the drafts out to. Plus he doesn’t demand walks and wont cost a fortune to keep.

You could even tweak his pattern and make the body shorter and put his feet on the underside of his body to turn him into a cuddly toy.
