Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4)(5, 6, 7) covers a range of chest measurements from 80 to 140cm.

If you need a larger size, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me and I will scale up the pattern to the size you need.

Final item measurements at the chest in cm:
99 (110, 122, 130) (141, 152, 160) cm approx.

This sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 19 to 22cm of positive ease at the chest.

The samples shown are size 1 with 16cm of positive ease and size 2 with 17cm of positive ease.

Gauge: In Dot stitch

21sts x 31 rows gives 10 x 10cm before blocking.
21sts x 30 rows gives 10 x 10cm after blocking.

It is advisable to note down the measurements of your swatch before and after blocking to allow you to estimate the final measurements.

Needles:

• 4mm circular needles with a cable of 60 or 80cm, or size needed to get gauge.
• 3.5mm circular needles with a cable of 40cm to begin working the neck.
• 4mm circular needles for working the sleeves and the neck in the round in a small circumference, this could be on a short cable, a long cable for the Magic Loop method or a set of DPNs.

Other materials:

• 1 stitch marker to mark the beginning of round
• A long cable with a connector to allow you to try on the item as you go
• Waste yarn of the same weight, but a contrasting colour and a smooth fibre for the provisional tubular cast-on
• Waste yarn for leaving the sleeve stitches on hold
• A tape measure, tapestry needle, and scissors

Contruction notes:

DANIELA is worked top-down seamlessly in the round.
It combines three colours of the same yarn type and various simple textures that make it fun to knit and above all make it multicoloured. I can’t wait to see the great variety of different finished items that come from this design.

The instructions are detailed in the following sequence:

• Cast on stitches for the neck
• Give height to the back neckline and the shoulders using
• German short rows.
• Work the yoke, shaping it with increase rounds. Separate body and sleeves.
• And continue working each part separately down to the desired length.

And it’s ready! Time to find the perfect look for it.

Medidas finales de la prenda en el contorno de pecho en cm:

Este jersey está diseñado para ser llevado con una holgura de entre unos 19 y 22 cm aproximadamente en el contorno del pecho.

• Agujas de 4 mm adecuadas para tejer las mangas y el escote en circular, ya sean agujas con cable corto, largo para tejer con Magic Loop o juego de 5 agujas.

Otros materiales:

• 1 marcador para el inicio de vuelta

• Cable largo con conector para ir probándonos la prenda

• Un trozo de hilo contrastante del mismo grosor y sin pelito para el montaje provisional del montaje tubular

• Un trocito de hilo para dejar en espera los puntos de las mangas

• Cinta métrica, aguja lanera y tijeras.

Notas sobre la construcción:

DANIELA se teje en circular de arriba hacia abajo sin costuras. Combina tres colores de una misma calidad de hilado y varias texturas muy sencillas que lo hacen muy divertido y sobre todo variopinto. Estoy deseando ver la gran variedad de proyectos tejidos distintos que van a partir de este modelo.

Las indicaciones se detallan siguiendo la siguiente secuencia:

• Montamos los puntos para el cuello.
• Damos la subida del escote trasero y pendiente del hombro con pasadas acortadas alemanas.
• Tejemos el canesú dándole forma con vueltas de aumentos. Separamos mangas y cuerpo.
• Y seguimos tejiendo cada parte por separado hasta el largo deseado.

¡Y listo! A buscarle un bonito look.
