Since the beginning of the 1930’es, the fishermen at the west coast of Denmark have been wearing the traditional Sailor Sweaters made out of sturdy, heavy wool. They are still produced, and have become a fashion statement. The sweaters are easy to recognize due to their characteristic bobble pattern. Here the pattern has been transferred to a pair of sock, maintaining the traditional, marine blue color. The socks are knit top down, with a round heel and a wedge toe. Instructions are given for women’s small, medium and large – sizes are easily adjustable.
