I wanted to make something really special with the two skeins of Madelinetosh Merino Light I bought in NYC on my honeymoon a little while ago. With only two skeins I knew it had to be a short-sleeved top and it then occured to me that I could use my grandmother’s (and my) all time favorite stitch pattern, frost flowers.

That was the beginning of my Danish Summer:
A short-sleeved lacey pullover, knit in the round, bottom up, with an a-line silhouette and v-neck shaping front and back.

There are written instructions, charts and schematics.

Two options are given for the stockinette portion; one for stretchy yarns like the one ply madelinetosh, and one for less stretchy yarns such as f.ex Wollmeise. Instructions are given in the pattern on how to check the stretchiness of your yarn.
