I worked up these little mitts over the Christmas holiday while spending time with my brother and sister in law. The gentle colorwork and delicious yarn made these the perfect project for knitting while visiting over coffee, cocoa and snow.

Recommended Yarn:
Lakes Yarn and Fiber, Hayden DK, (8ply) 280 (256 meters) yards per skein
MC (shown in Heartwood) 140 yards CC (shown in Alces) 70 yards

Needles:
• Size 3/3.25mm, 24”, or longer circular needles , or 4 dpns
• Size 5/3.75mm, 24”, or longer
circular needles, or 4 dpns

Notions:
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker to mark thumb
gusset
• Optional stitch marker to mark
beginning of round

Gauge:
24 stitches and 32 rows over 4”/10cm of stockinette stitch on larger needles
