The Daphne Button Up Dress is a french-inspired design that is comfortable to wear and hugs the body in all the right places. The design of the dress features a sweetheart neckline, tie up straps and a gorgeous decorative button up front.

CONSTRUCTION
DAPHNE BUTTON DRESS is worked from the top down, beginning with the bust cup shaping and then working the body. The dress is worked back and forth in pattern until the desired length is reached, with and i-cord edging for the edges. Straps worked in i-cord and tied up.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
3.25 mm US 3 circular needles 24/40 inches, 60/100 cm for the body 2.75 US 2 circular needles 40 inches / 100 cm for the i-cord x2.

Sample made in size XS with Hobbii Rainbow Bamboo (60% Bamboo Viscose 40% Cotton, 250 metres/273 yds, 100g).

I suggest a yarn which has bamboo/silk in order to have a lovely drape on the body.
Take note: The yardages shown are for a dress length that sits above the knee. Take into account if you’ll need more or less depending on the customisation of your HIP circumference preference and overall length.
