-The Daphne Raglan is a top down crocheted top with short sleeves and a classic look fit for any wardrobe.
-Pattern is worked in turned rounds using the very drapey and pretty extended single crochet stitch.
-Pattern comes with optional waist shaping instructions as well as customizations to alter fit, length, hem/neck accents.
-Daphne is size inclusive and graded to CYC standards for all 9 sizes. Sizing is written as follows: XS(S,M,L)(XL,2X,3X,4X,5X)
-This pattern includes short row shaping to better sit the top! You find this technique often in knitting patterns, so why not give it a try and elevate our crochet game? I got the inspiration from one of the patterns in Modern Crochet Sweaters by Janine Myska (over at @knitsnknotswpg).
-Sample Daphne shown: Size S on a 34” bust and a 5’4” person (I do have a short torso, you can feel free to add length as you see fit to your project) and uses Paintbox Yarns Simply DK in color Washed Teal. My sample is cropped to end just at the start of the hip bone, adding any length will require more yardage than estimates given, keep this in mind when project planning!
-Check out the resource guide shown on page 3 as well as other linked sources to help along the way.
-ch 1 at beginning of rows do NOT count as a stitch unless otherwise stated.
-The edge where we join rows is the back edge!

Gauge info:
4” x 4” = 17 sts x 15 rows of extended single crochet with a 3.5mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.

This pattern uses DK weight yarn and leaves a lot of room for customization options. Check out my testers over on my blog: www.keiracarnevaledesigns.com to see what they chose!
