The Daphne sweater is a simple sweater for everyday use with extra special details. The double knitted edge along the boat neck makes for a sophisticated finish. It is also the perfect sweater to showcase your most beautiful buttons !

The front and back are worked separately flat in stockinette with german short row shaping for the back piece. They are then joined together at the underarm. From there on you will finish the body of the sweater in the round. You will also work a double knitted band for the bottom of the sweater.

The front and the back of the sweater are attached together at the shoulders by a buttonband. You will also connect the two double knitted band at the front and the back of the sweater when picking up sts for the sleeves. You will pick up and knit the sleeve stitches inside both the front and the back panels to link them together. Sleeves are then knit in the round and shaped with decreases.
