Darcy Hat and Booties for a Little Love
This was my first time grading such small pieces and I did the best I could with the information I had available.
Any suggestions and feedback are very welcomed so I can improve them.
Please send me a message or email (agasalhosebugalhos@gmail.com) if you would like to do so!
These are simple designs graded for little angels, micro preemies and preemies.
While we knit them, we pour love in every stitch so
these little loves and their parents can feel they are not alone in their journey.
We will knit them in happy colours, filled with joy and hope.
Some of these pieces will probably be kept as a memory, they are special.
Handmade is another love language.
The hat is worked in garter stitch, from the bottom up.
There are two versions available: one knitted flat and another in the round.
The booties are worked flat from the sole to the leg in garter stitch and then sewed in the back with an invisible seam.
The leg of the bootie can be folded down or can be used up if the baby needs warm comfort.
Optional instructions for leg cord are available.
The step by step instructions have lots of photos and size colour codes to help you through your knitting project.
