This is a fun Harry Potter inspired blanket for a baby or toddler. Gender neutral and full of bright colours, the message across the top panel “Dare To Dream” is one that any parent or child will love.

Worked primarily in Garter Stitch, this blanket is straight forward enough for most adventurous beginners to follow, with written explanations of the techniques involved.

An exact gauge is not essential to this pattern, it is more important that the knitter is happy with the fabric they are creating, which should be a lovely soft and squishy garter stitch.

This blanket is made up of 9 colours, the sample was made up using 1 skein of each colour (100gr =200M worsted weight) but knitters may want to have extra yellow as was used the most between ‘Gryffindor’ and ‘Hufflepuff’.

Happy Knitting!
