This pattern is written using American crochet terms.
The pieces are joined as you go, so there’s no seaming afterwards. The sleeves are worked in the round downwards from the shoulder to the cuff. The hood is worked upwards in one piece and there’s a short seam to close the top of the hood. This seam is worked in ss and can’t be seen, even when the hood is down. This pattern is great for using up yarn scraps.
