Darjeeling Wrap
Sometimes you need a hug and the person you want most to hug you is not near at hand.
A decade after her passing I still miss my Granma deeply. It’s most often her hugs or kind words I want to hear when life knocks me about. Since Granma was truly knitworthy, it seemed only fitting that I should design a cozy pattern to fill in those missing hugs. I am sure she’d have enjoyed wearing this wrap as she read her daily paper with a cup of her favorite Darjeeling tea near at hand.
A bit of warmth without too much extra fabric, you too will want to snuggle down with a cuppa while wearing this. Simple construction, a pleasingly textured lace pattern, and some basic buttonholes and you’ve got a finished item!
While only one size is given, the lace pattern makes this wrap easily customized both length and width-wise, though you will certainly require more yarn if enlarging either way.
Many thanks to my testers and tech editor for help with this pattern!
