This hat is knitted in the round, in Double Knit after the ribbed brim. Pattern provides tips for Double Knitting, a Chart for the colorwork, and tips for Decreasing while Double Knitting. Also, has a photo tutorial on how I did the embroidery.

Also has variations on size, although is written for an adult (20-22 inches around, 9-10 inches tall.)
