Dark Wings, Dark Words
Slight problem, I was using yarn that had no ball band, that my ex-local yarn shop owner had brought back with her from Peru. The entire hank was somewhere north of 1k yards, and I had then separated it into a couple of balls that I don’t have the actual yardage for. So, yardage may be a problem for some. I’m guessing that I may be quite high on the 500 yard estimation, because I for sure did not use one hank. However, I don’t actually KNOW how much was in that hank!!!!
At any rate, the finished version of this square measured about 15” wide and 11” high. I then machine sewed it to some flannel to make a pillow.
If you are new to reading charts, then remember that you go one way for one row, then back the other way.
I did add on rows for a garter stitch border. So I cast on 80 stitches total.
Just thought people may like to use the chart for whatever. I thought about originally making this into a bag, but I opted for a pillow instead. :)
