Darling 9” Helix Socks Christmas KAL

How would you like to knit a pair of socks that have multi colored rows in the leg and foot of the sock with no strands to weave in or floats to carry?
Using a 9” Circular needle you will create a pair of Helix Stripe Socks using a 9” circular needle. The cuff, leg, heel and foot will all be done with a 9” circular needle. The toes will be done with a 32” circular needle.

3 colors of fingering weight yarn. 350 to 400 yards total.
One color will be used for contrasting heel and toes.
Two colors will be used for the helix stripes.

Needles
One pair of 9” Circulars to obtain proper gauge.
One pair of 32” Circulars to obtain proper gauge. These will only be used to work toe.

Other Materials
3 Stitch markers. One extra for safe keeping.
Darning needle to weave in cast on thread and end of toe.

Choosing Yarn
When choosing right color combinations for yarn choose a high contrast between two colors for helix striping. For heels and toes i like a complimentary color.
