This pattern I have designed and named in honor of my Aunt Dolly that passed away in Nov. 2018. I have made many doilies for her over the years and her favorite was with pineapples. Her given name is Darlys (dar-liss). She was the 12th born of 18 children. Her older sisters thought of her as their dolly when she was born, and that’s how the name Dolly took over. She will be forever remembered and memorialized with this doily. She is missed dearly.

I used a 1.75 mm hook. I do not crochet tight, so someone who does tight work will have a smaller size when done. I used less than one ball of Artiste #10 thread to complete this doily.
