Crochet pattern for a Dart Frog Blanket. This pattern comes with both a graph and written directions.

You will need 7 skeins of Gray (A) or background color, 5 skeins of Black (B), and 2 skeins of Green (C) or frog color.

I recommend carrying all 3 colors through the entire pattern to keep it even. Alternatively you can also carry the gray and black through the entire pattern and only carry the green yarn in the area it is needed in.

I recommend a medium weight (worsted weight) yarn with a J sized hook. The tapestry should come out a little over 4 feet wide. . A border can also increase the size and give the project a more finished look.

This pattern is 150 stitches wide by 149 rows tall.

This pattern can be made with the type of yarn of your choice, I recommend using a medium weight yarn and a J sized hook.

It is all single stitch crochet. In order to make this blanket you will need to know how to carry yarn (there are great youtube videos that can teach you how to do the Tapestry Crochet Technique. I highly recommend trying a small simple pattern to practice carrying yarn before attempting a larger project. Carrying yarn gets more difficult as you add more colors.
