This is a crochet pattern (not a finished product) to create your own Darth Vader Applique. This applique is meant to be sewn onto another item. Skill level for this pattern is intermediate.

Materials:

• G size/4.00mm crochet hook
• E size/3.50mm crochet hook
• Yarn (medium weight 4) Black, dark gray, white
• black embroidery floss
• yarn needle for French Knots, straight stitches and attaching pieces
• sewing needle for the floss
• stitch markers

Crochet stitches used and abbreviations:

• MR - magic ring.
• ch - chain
• st - stitch
• sc - single crochet
• sctog - single crochet together (decrease)
• sl st - slip stitch
• hdc - half double crochet
• dc – double crochet
• tc – triple crochet

Embroidery stitches for details:

• French Knot for pupils of eyes
• Straight stitch for mouth and space between eyes
• whip stitch to attach pieces

Finished size: approx 5” x 5”. Could be made larger or smaller by changing
the hook sizes.
