POR FAVOR, VE ABAJO PARA ESPAÑOL

For me, knitting a sailor shirt is always good, no matter how many I have already knitted, and that is why last year I knitted this one, no more reasons needed.

One of the meanings of the name Darya is “sea”, and that is why it seem to me the best name for this sailor shirt.

The tee begins to be knitted flat, from top to bottom, and from the back, until reaching the height of the armhole. Next, the left shoulder is knitted first, and then the right, once both are knitted, both are joined by casting on the neckline and continue knitting the front, up to the armhole. From here, it is begin to knit in the round, first making decreases to form the sleeve, and then continue in stockinette stitch combined with the lace stripes. Finally, the edges of the sleeves and neck are knitted.

SIZE GUIDE
The following measurements are the final of the garment, in centimeters:
Width in body: (68, 78, 89) (99, 109, 119) (129, 140, 150) cm

According to the Craft Yarn Council, the sizes correspond to: (8 years, 10/12 years or XS, 14/16 years or S) (M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL). This is just an orientation, each body is different and therein lies its beauty.

It is a garment designed to be worn with ease from 5 to 10cm, but it is always better to measure a garment that you really like how it fits you. In the photos, I wear size 4, with a 99cm width, and I have a measure of 88cm.

GAUGE
23.5 sts x 37 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 3.00 mm needles, in stockinette stitch, worked in the round, after blocking.

Para mi, tejer una camiseta marinera siempre está bien, da igual cuantas haya tejido ya, y por eso el año pasado me tejí esta, porque sí, porque es un básico en el armario, y en este caso, porque no tenía ninguna de lino 100%, lo que convierte a esta en mi camiseta marinera más fresquita.

Uno de los significados del nombre Darya es “mar”, y de ahí que me pareciera el mejor para esta camiseta marinera.

La camiseta se comienza a tejer en plano, de arriba hacia abajo, y por la espalda, hasta llegar a la altura de la sisa. A continuación se teje primero el hombro izquierdo, y luego el derecho, una vez tejidos los dos, se unen ambos montando puntos en el escote y se continúa tejiendo el delantero, hasta la sisa. A partir de aquí se comienza a tejer en circular, haciendo primero disminuciones para formar la manga, y luego se continúa en punto liso combinado con las rayas en calado. Por último se tejen los bordes de mangas y cuello.

Las medidas siguientes son las finales de la prenda, en centímetros:

Es una prenda pensada para llevar con una holgura de 5 a 10cm, pero siempre es mejor que midas una prenda que te guste mucho cómo te queda. En las fotos, yo llevo la talla 4, de 101cm de pecho y tengo 88cm de contorno (a mi me gustan las prendas bastante holgadas).

MUESTRA
Con agujas de 3.00mm, en punto liso, y tejida en plano, después de bloquear, la muestra de 10x10 cm son 23.5 p x 37 vtas.
