Dash Away Reindeer
This is my second pattern celebrating the magic of Christmas - one more to come!
Finished reindeer is 9 inches tall and 15 inches long. Knit mostly in the round and all in one piece (except for the antlers). Only one seam required.
Q: Will these reindeer stand on their own?
A: No; I wanted them to be in flying position with their front legs drawn upward and back legs extended, therefore a stand is needed. I used a dpn and a piece of styrofoam.
Q: Is the pattern fiddly?
A: Parts of it are! It would be impossible to knit realistic reindeer legs on dpns without it being fiddly. Is it worth it? Yes!
Q: Does this pattern include the Santa doll?
A: No. You can find that pattern (Forest Gnome) in my Ravelry store. This pattern is for the reindeer and harness.
