Data Nerd Running Mitts
A fitted mitten with closed thumb, opening for a watch face, and long cuff at the fingers that can be unfolded for extra warmth.
These were designed to use up leftover fingering weight sock yarn scraps - the pattern is written for a single yarn, but if you have leftovers like I do, feel free to swap them in and out as needed.
Please let me know if you have any comments! This was written mostly to share with fellow running knitters, so hasn’t been heavily edited - if you have any concerns or questions, let me know.
ETA: Feb 4 2022:
I got a question about sizing - Women’s medium is really vague! You’re correct!
The sample pair I have fits 21cm around at the arm, 17.5cm at the wrist and 17cm at the fingers (excluding thumb). These can be worn with 0 or slightly negative ease.
