The sweater is knitted top-down. The yoke is shaped with raglan increases, after which the body is knitted downwards. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and the large collar, and they are finished. This model can be made with short or long sleeves; the pattern guides through either version. All rib edges are closed with an Italian bind-off, the Italian bind-off provides a more elastic edge.
