Datsuzoku | 脱俗
This pattern is part of Wabi-Sabi, The Beauty of Artisanally Made Yarns, published by Nomad noos.
The meaning of “Datsuzoku” revolves around being enlightened and above daily matters. It involves a transcendence of conventional ideas and traditional usage. It is rising above daily routine or the ordinary, enlightened to the true meaning of life, unworldly, softspoken.
The pullover starts from the middle of the back
with a provisional cast-on and is worked up toward the shoulders. The back is split into two and the right and left backs are worked at the same time but separately with different balls of yarn to form a deep V.
