Dauphin Socks
Dauphin Socks is the 5th pattern in Mary, Queen of Socks.
Francis II was the King of France and was the Dauphin of King Henry II. He was also Mary, Queen of Scots’ first husband. They were betrothed as children and the first time they met it was like they had known each other their whole lives. Francis married Mary when he was 15 at the Notre Dame in Paris shortly before the sudden death of his father.
The Dauphin Socks feature a textured pattern that wraps around the back of the leg and an elegant gusset heel that is fit for a King. The texture is designed to look like a simple crown that goes around the leg.
