This pattern works well with hand dyed yarn. With long colour changes. But will work with any sock yarn/ fingering weight.

The same needle size in used though out. It is worked in the round and you will need
Circular needles
Dpns
And a stitch marker.

Best of all you can wear it both ways out. Making it a reversible hat. :-)
