David's Pullover & Cap #C742
This is a chilly day, cozy cap and sweater set which is ideal for toddlers up to bigger children. The cap is knit on #7 needles and the pullover on #8 needles, in the Brioche Rib, sometimes called the Shaker Stitch.
The directions include drawings, which illustrate the stitch and show just how to work this textured, rhythmical and easy stitch.
A wide double-crew neck, drop shoulders and pick-up-and-knit sleeves create a comfortable and easy fitting sweater. It is a fun, quick-to-knit project for the intermediate knitter.
