Davis Square Henley
There is a Davis Square Henley KAL happening from now until December 10th. More information about the KAL and how to participate can be found here.
The Davis Square Henley may look simple at first glance, but it contains a plethora of subtle, classic design details! A gently sloping neckline, shaped twisted ribbing and a slight puff sleeve make for an incredibly wearable sweater that is fit for any time of year.
This sweater is constructed top-down. The yoke is knit flat using raglan shaping and neckline increases (extra stitches are cast on for the button bands, which are knit simultaneously). Stitches are held for the sleeves, and the body is worked in the round. The sleeves are worked in the round from the held stitches. Lastly, stitches are picked up along the neckline to add a ribbed collar. For finishing, buttons are sewed on.
