Description: Day Trip Socks are knit cuff-down and in the round in a two row repeat that creates a stretchy fabric. Two heel options are included in the pattern; heel flap and gusset or an afterthought heel. To carry the slip stitch motif around the entire foot, knit the afterthought heel. If you prefer to knit a heel flap and gusset, the slip stitch motif will be carried only across the top of the foot. Instructions for variations for the pattern including shorty socks and two-toned may be found at the end of the pattern on p. 5).
