Daydreamer Shawl
I have designed Daydreamer to get the most out of that special skein of yarn, my aim is to keep it interesting while creating a soothing and therapeutic knit. This pattern is versatile and can be used with most types of colourways.
Pattern Notes:
-This pattern is made up of “panels”of two types of stitches, stocking stitch and eyelets. The border is made up of garter stitch and picots which disguise the increases and decreases. You can also choose from two sizes Shawl or the smaller Shawlette
-Due to the nature of stocking stitch your work will curl up but it’s nothing some gentle blocking won’t straighten out, unless you like the curling of course!
-Gauge is not important for the size but it is for the yarn usage.
Gauge
27 sts x 32 rows 10cm x 10cm 4”x4” square in stocking stitch (blocked) worked on 3.5 mm (US Size 4) needles, or size needed to obtain the correct gauge. Gauge is not really important for the size but it is for the yarn usage.
