Daylily Tea Cosy for Mother's Day
by Jenny Stacey
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
The cosy is made for small 1-2 cup teapots, mine holds close to 2 cups and measures 35cm circumference & 12cm tall.
Not a new pattern but a variation of my Easy Ripple Tea Cosy. It is an open top cosy, easily made with 2 rectangles of Ripple joined with minimal sewing.
The bottom turns up for the leaves, and the top folds down, making the flower. A drawstring can be added to close up the top a little if desired.
Sister to the Rad’ Ripple Tea Cosy, made from the same pattern, which will be up shortly.
In memory of my Mother who loved and grew Daylilies - Jen.
