The Dazzler woolly hat is knitted in the round. An optional contrast colour is used for the rib. It has been created to use up any leftover yarn from knitting the Dazzler sweater.

Yarn used:

Air by Drops – Black – 1 skein
Air by Drops – Wheat – 1 skein
Air by Drops – Dark Olive – 1 skein

Alternative yarn suggestions are for example Snefnug by CaMaRose

Needles:
US 6/4 mm circular needles for ribbing and US 8/5mm circular needles for stranded colourwork. 30cm circular needles. DPNs can also be used if you prefer.

Notions: Stitch markers

Gauge:
19 sts x 22 rnds to 4”/10cm on US8/5mm needles in stranded colourwork, after blocking.

Notes:
This hat is knitted in the round.

For the colourwork, in the pattern the CC is held as the dominant colour. The MC strand should always cross below the CC and the CC should always cross above the MC.

Work the floats loosely to keep the work from puckering. It is recommended to knit a gauge swatch from the charts.

All charts are read from the bottom to top and from right to left.
