A beholder sees in all directions. It is always looking for concealed attackers. Even when it sleeps, its smaller eyes remain open, scanning its lair for threats. So, when they are used to cover a chocolate orange, you have to be quick to retrieve it – good for a dieter?? I was asked to make this by a friend who has a D&D mad son – as do I! I made this with chunky yarn to give the stalks some substance. You can make with dk & use a folded pipe cleaner inside if you prefer. I also purchased some glass dragon eye cabochons, but this looks equally good if you embroider the eyes.
