Pattern info:
Take a journey with me through the beauty of stitches and color changes inspired by the darkness of night into the brilliant shades of sunrise. This project boasts a unique center construction with the option of tassels to finish. This rectangular shaped wrap uses 4 skeins of fingering weight yarn in a variety of tonal, variegated, and speckled shades, including one in a beautiful silk mohair to add texture and lightness.
Color order for this project is to use the darkest color in the center working to the lightest color on each end.
Yarn:
Color A: 1 skein of a very dark tonal or solid color fingering, approximately 330-380 yards/301-348 meters.
Color B: 1 skein of highly variegated fingering yarn that goes well with the dark tonal. Here’s your chance to use that variegated yarn you don’t know what to do with., approximately 290-333 yards/265-305 meters.
Color C: 1 skein of silk mohair in a lighter shade tonal or solid that complements colors A, B, and D, approximately 220-253 yards/201-231 meters.
Color D: 1 skein of a light colored speckle yarn that goes well with colors A, B, and C, approximately 300-345 yards/275-315 meters.
